Chamomile/ Matricia officinalis

 

This delicate and sweet smelling herb is an excellent gentle sedative, safe for use with children. It also has anti-spasmodic, anti- inflammatory, carminative, nervine, and analgesic properties.

 

Lime Flower/ Tilia cordata

 

A well-known relaxing remedy for use in nervous tension, Lime flower is a nervine, anti-spasmodic, mild astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, and tonic.

 

Lemon Balm/ Melissa Officinalis

 

The volatile oils held within Melissa officinalis have gentle sedative actions and relieve tension and stress reactions. It has brilliant carminative properties and has a tonic effect on the heart. Lemon Balm is also; an anti-spasmodic, anti-depressive, diaphoretic, hepatic, nervine and tonic.

 

Lavender/ Lavendula officinalis

 

Lavender is one of the most widely used herbs since ancient times, it has a high volatile oil content and is regarded as a very good wound herb. It is most commonly used as a relaxant and also has anti-spasmodic, nervine tonic, analgesic, antiseptic and carminative actions.

 

Cinnamon/ Cinnamomum zeylanicum

 

Cinnamon is a pungent and warming digestive remedy; it has carminative, astringent, aromatic properties with natural sugars that sweeten any herbal blend.

 

Orange Blossom/Citrus sinensis

 

The sweet smelling and fragrant herb soothes and relaxes the nervous system. An infusion can ease tension and has been used to relieve headaches. It is also known to have an anti-spasmodic action on the muscular skeletal system.
